My marriage was one of the many that fell because of adultery, something that has become a norm in many failing marriages in Kenya, and on the continent of Africa.
Making the decision to get out of my 18 year marriage because of the emotional and psychological abuse, was so far the toughest decision I had ever had to make. I was and still am very passionate and a firm believer in the family, as God intended.
My late father had given me a glimpse of what being in a family was about. He was accessible to and provided for, loved and looked after us. By no means were we the perfect family, but he left us with fond memories of what it means to belong to a family.
This Ministry has been borne out of my own personal traumatic journey of separation and divorce coupled with the women God brought me in contact with. I hadn’t realized how passionate
I was about the importance and emotional wellness of families to exist and thrive as God intended in the beginning until I went through my own journey. The victims of separation and divorce on the continent of Africa are mainly women and children.
There are few places where these families can actually seek refuge and help along the way back to a full, rich individual and family life thereafter.
