and in Africa 29.19 million cases (9%), making depression one of the most
prevalent illness on the continent of Africa, with women affected double the
number of men. Djibouti is Africa's most depressed country with 5.1% of its
population affected followed by Cape Verde and Tunisia second with 4.9%
of their populations, Lesotho with 4.8%, Uganda and South Africa in fifth
place with 4.6% of their populations suffering, Algeria, Morocco, and Libya
come in sixth place. 4.5% of their populations and Nigeria with a 3.9% of
its population. Anyone of these people could be seated in church
congregations.
