AMHFA for Parents


This course gives you an overview of some key terms before examining some strategies that can support good mental health and well-being in your children. The training will help you to know and understand the unique risk factors and warning signs of mental health problems in children (including when children are thinking of suicide), how to help children in crisis or experiencing a mental health challenge, or substance or alcohol abuse. You will come away with a tool to help you plan how to support your child or other children you come in contact with.

In Africa, adolescents, and teens aged 10-19 years::

Nurturing and loving care build a strong foundation, helping your child to develop the social and emotional skills they need to lead a happy, healthy, and fulfilled life.
